Nestled along the Trans Canada highway, near the border to Ontario, is the trail head for the Hunt Lake hiking trail. Beginning at the southern edge of Hunt Lake, the trail wraps around its western edges before heading north, along the east side of West Hawk lake.
It was a longer hike that provide us with some great viewpoints, but a word to the wise, there is no sign designating that you’ve reached the end of the shorter section of the trail, if your not careful, you could be hiking for 40km!
Until next time!
